FAQ
Where are Zoom coupons available?
There are two places you can find coupons for Zoom, one of which is here on AppGrooves. Instead of searching on individual sites, AppGrooves bring coupons for many well-known brands and retailers together. Simply search for the coupon you're looking for, in this case Zoom, at the top of the website. When coupons for Zoom pop up, click on the one that appeals most to you. This will inform you of how and where the coupon should be used, either on the website of the company or the app. You'll alo find other terms and conditions.
How do I use my Zoom coupon?
Once you've selected the Zoom coupon code that applies to the product you're looking for, click on it to reveal the information on how to use it. Some coupons are applied automatically when reaching the company's checkout page, while others have a coupon code that needs to be entered at the final purchase stage. Click through to Zoom, select the product you want to purchase and head through to checkout. Here, once you've entered your payment and account information, you can add the coupon code. Zoom allows you to add up to two coupon codes, however only one will be considered Active at a time.
The system doesn't seem to be accepting my Zoom coupon?
As Zoom produces several products and services, check that you're using a coupon that matches the product you're trying to sign up to. For example, if you're attempting to use a coupon for Zoom Meetings, when in fact you're signing up for Zoom Rooms, this won't work. Also, check the number of coupons already attached to your account. Zoom allows you to have two coupons added to your account. Once the first Active coupon has expired, the second coupon will be used. Zoom will not allow a third coupon to be added, so check whether this is the case.
How often does Zoom offer online coupons?
Zoom occasionally offers online coupons and promotions, although less than some other companies, particularly those in the retail or grocery sectors. Many of the coupons that become available for Zoom relate to a discount off the paid subscription of some of its products, although free trials do become available from time to time. AppGrooves will refresh coupons for Zoom as and when they become available. Check back regularly, or save Zoom to your favorites list. Alternatively, sign up for Zoom's newsletter and social media channels, where the company will occasionally post deals.
Which Zoom coupon offers me the greatest value?
The best coupon currently available for Zoom is through AppGrooves, which is offering you 20% off your first month on Zoom, for a premium plan. To use, select the coupon, where you'll see that there is a code that needs to be entered at the checkout stage. Copy this coupon code and then head to the Zoom website to create your account. Once this is done, select the premium plan you want to subscribe to, head through to checkout and then enter your coupon code. This should deduct the 20% value of the coupon for your first month.
Can I add an additional coupon to my account?
Yes, according to Zoom, you can have up to two coupons attached to your account at any one time. However, only one of the coupons will be known as Active, while the other will be Pending. Zoom will use the Active coupon first, meaning that when the discount from the Active coupon expires, Zoom will then move on to the Pending coupon. While this doesn't mean you can benefit from multiple coupons at the same time, it does mean you can take advantage of a second discount as soon as the first finishes. To do this, sign into your Zoom account and head to the Billing section, under Account Management. Select Current Plans, then Coupons and Add Coupon. Here, you'll be able to enter the appropriate code.
Does Zoom offer coupons directly?
Yes, occasionally you'll find that Zoom offer you discounts and promotions directly from them, in addition to the coupons you'll find on AppGrooves. On the Zoom website, scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll find a link for Zoom Blog. Here, you'll find a range of articles and posts created by Zoom directly. You can also subscribe to Zoom Blog by entering your email address at the top. From time to time, Zoom may include offers and deals in this page, and you'll receive email notifications when anything updates. If you follow Zoom on their social media channels, you may also find that they post discounts for their paid services here occasionally.
Can I share my account with others?
It is not recommended that you share your account with others, due to Zoom's policy on the number of licenses available per subscription. For the free Basic product, anyone is able to create an account for simple video and audio conference functionality. On the premium plans, you'll need to pay for each individual license that you need. A license can only be used by one person, according to Zoom's terms and conditions, and should be registered to that individual. If you want more people to have licenses, then you must add them to the subscription, which comes at a cost. If Zoom suspects licenses are being shared above and beyond what you've paid for, they could suspend your account.
What Is Zoom's Cancellation Policy?
Zoom allows you to cancel your subscription at any point, with any changes needing to be made through your account. Sign in to your Zoom account, and then head to Account Management and then Billing. Under the Current Plans tab, you can then select Cancel Subscription next to the product you wish to cancel. You will then see a notice informing you of when your subscription will end, which is usually the end of the current billing cycle. The system will also ask you for feedback based on why you've chosen to cancel. If you change your mind and want to reinstate your subscription before the end date, you can click on Reactivate Plan. Some plans are eligible for refunds. Click Need Help on the cancellation page, where it will inform you of whether this applies to your account.
How can I contact Zoom Customer Service?
There are several support options available, depending on your membership level with Zoom. If you are a free user of the Basic service, you will receive online support through Zoom's chatbot. This can help with simple queries, such as forgotten passwords and questions about the system. For those customers with paid subscriptions, you can contact Zoom directly, raising a ticket for an employee to help you out. You are also able to phone Zoom to discuss a query with a live representative. For all information regarding support from Zoom and how this differs by product, visit the Zoom Support Plans and Contact Options page.
What are Zoom's different pricing plans?
Zoom has three different pricing plans for its paid products, each one increasing in price and offering additional features and support options. The first of these is Pro, which costs $149.90 per year, per license. The benefits of this package include unlimited meeting length, the ability to stream over social media and cloud storage facilities. You can purchase up to nine licenses with this option. Secondly, you can subscribe to a Small Business account, for $199.90 per year, per license. This adds the ability of including up to 300 people in meetings, transcript functionality and available for up to 99 licenses. Finally, the Large Enterprise option costs $240 per license, per year.
What payment methods does Zoom accept?
Zoom's paid services accept a number of payment options, depending on the territory in which you currently reside. Zooms accepts PayPal, credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, as well as a range of digital wallet payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Android Pay. You can also set your account up for manual pay versus autopay. On autopay, the subscription cost is automatically debited from your payment method each month, though for this you need to use a debit or credit card, PayPal or ACH payment. Manual pay means that you'll receive an invoice at the end of each month which is due within 30 days. Also, remember that you'll pay tax on Zoom payments, which may differ depending on your location.
Are Zoom meetings secure?
Yes, Zoom employs several security features within its call and video technology to ensure that your calls are secure. The first of these falls under the category of pre-meetings, and includes the likes of Waiting Rooms, Join By Domain and Passcodes. By adding waiting rooms to your meeting, you can pre-screen all attendees to ensure everyone is who they say they are. Join By Domain requires attendees to have a domain address, while Passcodes add an extra layer of security. As a meeting host, you'll also have control over things during meetings too, with the option of removing people from the meeting, and reporting anything suspicious to Zoom.
What other features does Zoom have?
Other than the traditional Meetings software used by most people, casual users and businesses alike, there are other products offered by Zoom. One of these is Zoom Phone, which offers businesses a range of call-only options through the software. The cheapest of these is $120, all the way up to $240. Secondly, there's Zoom Events and Webinar, which offers large-scale conferencing facilities for up to 500 attendees. This ranges from $690 per year to $890. Zoom Rooms offers audio and video software implemented in business conference rooms for $490 per year. Zoom United links all these products together, offering a combined membership including features from all products listed here.
Can I access Zoom for free?
Yes, before you get to the paid Zoom subscriptions, you can also make use of the free service, known as Basic. The Basic level includes many of the same features as the paid subscriptions, although limits are introduced for some of the aspects. For example, while the participant capacity of 100 is the same as Pro, you'll only get 40 minutes of call time before the meeting automatically ends. Furthermore, you won't get access to any additional features, such as transcription, social media streaming or co-hosting options. To create an account, simply head to the website or app, click on Sign Up, and you'll be able to register for a free membership.
Is there a free trial I can use first?
There is no free trial available for Zoom Meetings, the standard web-based video calling service. If you want to use this for free, then select the Basic option which costs nothing. However, there are other Zoom products that do offer free trials, depending on which you select. Zoom Rooms, for example, is a product that offers a free trial before committing to a paid monthly fee. Zoom Rooms is a service for businesses that want to kit out their conference rooms with video and audio technology. The service costs $499 per year, per room, or $49 per month. However, you can sign up to a 30-day free trial before purchasing.
Are there any other resources offered by Zoom?
Alongside the standard products offered by Zoom, there is a range of features to help users understand the functionality of the software, as well as tools for running their businesses better. For example, Zoom Marketplace contains over 1,500 apps that can be used in conjunction with other Zoom products. These may include digital signature apps, or business cards. Furthermore, Whiteboard, which is included in some respect with all Zoom accounts, allows for group brainstorming sessions to take place while on video calls. There's also a suite of Zoom Resources, that help you access tutorials on how to use Zoom's products to improve your life.
Where can I use Zoom?
You can use Zoom on a variety of devices, including your smartphone and computer. On your computer, whether it be a laptop or desktop, you'll find two ways of signing in and accessing meetings. The first of these is through the Zoom website. Once you've created an account, you can log in and either host or join an existing meeting. On your computer, you can also download the Zoom Client for Meetings app, which offers a more streamlined service. On your phone, simply download the Zoom app and log in here as you normally would. There is also a range of devices your business can purchase that are compatible with Zoom.
Can I pay annually or monthly?
You can pay for all Zoom services either monthly or annually, depending on your preference. On the Zoom website or app, click on Plans & Pricing at the top, which will open up the full suite of products offered by Zoom. Select the product relevant to you, such as Meetings, or Rooms, and the sub-options will appear, offering you various license levels and so on. At the top, you'll be able to change your currency and also toggle between pay month and pay annually. When you've selected the product that best suits you, click Buy Now and you'll be taken through to the checkout section.
